Riding photos and baby photos.

I'm going to have to start taking my camera with me on my 'commute' (if 2 miles counts as such, haha) to work. For example, this morning, as I stopped by the stables: I walked out into Pepsi's paddock, glanced right, and the acres of farmland that stretch away to the south were covered in a thick blanket of fog. A pure white cloud of the stuff that melded seamlessly with the pale blue sky, completely obliterating the horizon and obscuring all familiar landmarks. All landmarks, that is, except for the trees that sporadically line one of the drainage ditches. They rose out of the nothingness, black in the brightness of the early morning sun, like inkblots on a blank page.

It. Was so. Beautiful. The kind of image that I want to commit to paper, and have my characters interact with, just so that I can preserve it.

Anywho. Photos from the weekend when fleefloodle and glenatron came to play at the Gransden Show! :D Most of these photos were actually taken by glenatron ... in fact the only ones that weren't are the ones that have him in them. Haha.

The first time I met fleefloodle, I terrorised her by attempting to take lots of photos. So her meeting up with me again was very brave on her part ... and, naturally, I abused that courage by trying to take photos of her. AGAIN. Here I snapped her just before she took refuge behind 18.3hh Wossname*.

glenatron finds Wossname's* itchy spot.

Myself and Macey. There are limited pictures of the actual display, for top secret reasons that I can not reveal. ON PAIN OF DEATH.

Elf on Harry (left) and Becca on Harvey.

Untacking. :P I'd just got off and removed my hat and long blonde wig, when this lady appears and says that her (very small, very cute, very shy) daughter was desperate to meet Bo Peep. I felt SO bad because without the bonnet and wig I suspect I looked very different. Poor kid certainly didn't want to look at me. XD But I introduced her to Macey and showed her his "magic" eye so it was all right in the end...

And then we went back to Elf's and it was baby time. Here is Magic, at 3 months and 10 days old. Just to remind you, I am 5'3". She is soooo huge! And check out that brilliant beard!

The fantastic photo that Ben took of her, while I was running poor old Bea up and down.

Magic did not approve of this contraption on her mum's head. Heroically, she tried to eat it.

OMG SO CUTE.

And some fleefloodle and Magic. :3

* Wossname is not a Waldburg horse, he was borrowed; and I have completely forgotten what his name was. :|

In other news, on Saturday evening Elf and I are dressing as knights, riding our equally knightly horses, and will be busy being awesome at the medieval feast my local church is hosting.

MY LIFE IS AWESOME.
