P&B photos.

Not that I didn't enjoy my holiday - seeing my Granny again, having lie-ins, spending a week with glenatron; but I'm very glad to be back to the routine of having horses. I don't know what I'd do with myself without them. It's just comforting, you know, to plan your day around them and then to finish up in the evening knowing that their every need has been taken care of.

A few Pepsi and Beatrice photos for your perusal, the majority of Bea portraits taken by glenatron.

I fetched her from Elf's yesterday morning when the world was still white with frost. Ben very kindly accompanied us on foot and took some lovely pictures.

I like this photo because of her stride - just love those big huge steps! I mean, I like the high-knee action a lot of Shires display too, but I'm very fond of the plough-horse shape - head down, pushing into the collar - and I really like seeing them stride out like this.

Took Bea out for an amble round the fallow fields this afternoon. She's so pretty.

I took Pepsi out first, though; she's so fuzzy. :3 The brook was still frozen, even at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

Pepsi in her new bling that zsazsaroar bought us! <3 Love it.

I walked 6 miles today, too. :)

Also my back hurts again. :( But I have new painkilling gel to rub on it and it smells like lavender. Win!

Oh, and I managed to upload my holiday photos (FB friends will already have seen them), so I'll make a selective post here later.

Memphis used to get fuzzy like that, then in the spring I'd go to groom him and it would all come out at once. Pillowcase-fuls of horse hair.

Glad you enjoyed Spain, please share your painkilling gel!
